Looking through my photos, I just realized that I completely forgot to post my Mother's day DIY card!
Making a card adds a very personal touch, when you have a little bit of time, to gift giving. I usually start by deciding on a background color, gathering all of my other colors, cutting the background piece to the shape and size desired, and then work begins on the snazzy cover.
I used pink, orange, navy, and some silver glitter glue to to tie together the random color schemes that would be placed together Sunday morning!
ps. Hobby Lobby usually has a great selection of materials and, if you can hold out so to stock up, they also have discounts on their paper goods and ribbons pretty regularly.
